The Bambuco, is a typical Colombian rhythm inherited from the Quechua indigenous community and with African and Spanish roots; It is part of one of the most important musical genres in Colombia and performed with string and percussion instruments in the Andean Region, that includes the departments of North Santander, Santander, Boyacá, Antioquia, Cauca, Cundinamarca, Tolima, Huila, Risaralda and the city of Bogotá.
